5 DAY-IN-1 post ah...Hold on for the ride of your ~~boring~~ lifes' through my ~~spectacular~~ life story. LISTEN TO MY NEW BLOG SONG ~~THAT OWNS YOURS~~. It is 张智成-换日线. 10TH SEPTEMBER 2008, WEDNESDAY

Wednesday was a little different and yet special(Definition of weird???). We assembled before seizing the day, yeah...Performance in the primary school hall by various China scholars who got OWNED in the NATIONAL Science Challenge by other schools. YAY TEAM SINGAPORE! So, the performance was a little funny ~~laughing at them~~, and the technical stuffs were screwed, microphones too loud and PA system broadcasted right into the secondary school hall when Sec 4s were having their prelims.

Ok that plus discipline stuff dragged all the way until left 5 minutes of HCL ~~not that im complaining~~. 张老师 insisted we went through one 综合填空, ok lor, how much more slack can the lesson get anyway? Geography after that was slack and easy, no point to elaborate. A maths was the same, learnt alot of spotting and proving in plane geometry.

English was quite interesting, did a film pitch in a form of a speech, writer's cramp at first, than finally thought of what to write. "Nightmare on Elm Street"...LOLS...so PICTURE THIS(Pardon the pun): You suddenly feel hungry and have a craving for cookies, opening the cookie jar, you looked into it and to your horror...IT IS EMPTY!!! It is the attack of...THE COOKIE MONSTER!*Shudders*, yeah i know it is ~~brilliant~~ crap.
Carpe Diem was a little retarded, went through BRIEFLY only about slides we can download an read ourselves. Sian next week got test(Or was it the week after?). E maths remedial after that was a quite easy ~~for people with high I.Q. like me~~ i think, dont know why other people ~~with low I.Q.~~ think it is difficult. Oh yah if you were wondering what the topic is, it is Circular Measure.

11TH SEPTEMBER 2008, THURSDAY

Assembly made me fell asleep doing 20 push-ups for ~~not~~ failing classroom cleanliness check by SIR Teo. No kicks at all...也许这是所谓的宝刀未老. English first period chiong my film pitch which i didnt do the night before. Finished just in time as he was leaving, HAHAS...MADE IT!

Geography next, Rong Xuan got scolded by Mrs Pang...AGAIN this time because he was eating jellybeans in class. History Elect. went through all the file stuff, slack again because im a 乖 boy boy who prepared everything beforehand, so nothing much except labelling and getting it in the order Ms Thian wanted.

Double a maths was very dry, ALOT of plane geometry that took 2 periods though we only did 4-5 questions. Chemistry last period went through revision worksheet. Got pumped 20 because of Rong Xuan, another 20 because of ~~Chun Kiat~~ i dont know who. So today was pretty much a warm-up session for me.

12TH SEPTEMBER 2008, FRIDAY

A supposedly exciting and happy day for me, the USM, ASM, PART C UDI and PART A UDI turned out a little wrong for me, READ ON. E maths went through some test paper, didnt bother listening because it was just too easy or too difficult to be understood(If i dont understand, who does? Just joking...) at that point in time. A maths learnt Intercept and Mid-point Theorem...i think.

Things started well, because Ms Thian gave us the time to sort our file again, so as i said im a 乖 boy boy and filed all but ONE single worksheet which got me into a hell lot of trouble. After that, she gave us the last 15-20 minutes to go photocopy missing worksheet, i borrowed from Ernest and went to the bookshop, damn long queue with everybody wanting to photocopy a truckload of stuffs. Challenged Jun Hui to a tournament of PSG3 on his phone. Bell rang, but there were still quite a number of people, so i waited like everybody else. I wasnt trying to pon HCL, it is just that after having waited for so long, the mindset of the norm would be to keep waiting. Regretted that decision, only went back to class 15 minutes until recess after Edward called us back. Luckily Mdm Yu did not screw everybody.

Double chemistry was ok, went through Catholic High School Final-Year Examinations 2005 paper MCQ, the class kept asking MDM to go through every question because she keep asking "Next question," so we they guai lan her. After that Ms Thian came in and scolded us for just now for that incident, could see the anger and worse still, the disappointment in her tone and expressions. It wasnt intentional, but yet im truly sorry and guilty of letting my teachers down, Mr Ng, Ms Thian and most importantly, 张秀美老师. Juniors reading, please learn from this and DONT ever commit such acts of stupidity, it is not worth it. Chiong down go auditorium for e maths remedial, pretty much useless except the learning of the formulas to calculate both simple and compound interest.

Went store, changed into my NO. 3 with LANYARD, HAHAS...red and white have became my 2 favourite colours. Conducted water parade since no Sec 2 volunteered(Haiz...disappointment...). Opening parade was cancelled due to Sec 2 oral examinations. Change of venue for drills, ask Part As move to Plaza instead of track, easier to hear bangs and coordinate, also less sian than the track. Re-teach Hormat Kahadapan and teached them Impek Kanan. Postponed drill test to next week so that can test one extra drill, *Laughs evily*. PT was slack, took Zhong Liang run 2 rounds around the school, can see a considerable effort, so i hereby appeal to ALL Part A '08 cadets to help train up together and improve AS A PART. RT was more slack, went to do long jump at the long jump sand pit(DUH!!!). Dismiss in PT Kit because there was no closing parade since there wasnt opening parade in the first place(Read above). Bubble tea and took 88 go home ~~sleep~~ send stats poster to Ms Chow and did Part A reflections and than send to SIR Goh.

13TH SEPTEMBER 2008, SATURDAY

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHIA YI XIAN CLARENCE ~~THE FAGGOT~~. 1 more year, just 1 more year to NC16, look forward to that day hor, 13th September 2009.

Slept at 1 A.M., woke up at 6:30 A.M., quite big a deal considering the fact i only slept 5 hours per day for the past week. Went to Ang Mo Kio Street 22 新建兴 noodle stall eat ~~my parents~~ with my parents, ate soup version for breakfast. It is definitely better than James Loo's house there the one(As in with the soup because it is damn delicious lah, the noodle is only above average or average like that). Got introduced to it by none other than my parents about 3-4 years ago, been addicted since. GO TRY NOW, especially for those who eat McWings all week long *WINKS*, you know who im talking about.

Physics remedial was ok followed by HCL remedial, both i think rather slack and easy to understand. Went home eat lunch and go Yong Hwee's house play soccer.

The night before i felt my muscles cramping up already, so no surprise when it cramped when we were playing, the pain subsided, but the tightness in the muscle didnt. Heck care and play, but careful not to overdo things and strain it again. Went home, eat dinner and changed went to Rivervale Primary School.

Met Agnes, Winnie, Ryan, Alvin, Ashley, Hui Jun, Wei Zhen, Li Shan, Gideon, Michelle, Kai Xin and i think that is all, tell me if i have forgotten someone. Went around, wanted to play basketball than Mr Tan tell us the school closing sian...go 188 the court full, went playground stoned, finally played abit of catching(Yes, you read right, it is CATCHING, nothing to do mah) and went home while some of them went Mcdonalds to have a drink.

14TH SEPTEMBER 2008, SUNDAY

Studied chemistry ~~stared in the mirror whole day looking at my dashing self~~. Sian lah shouldnt have listened to Yu Cheng not saying it was your fault, now my calf muscle got mild strain but hurts quite a little when walking or strectching it too much.

08TH SEPTEMBER 2008, MONDAY

Mixed feelings about the first day of Term 4. Happy to be back at school ~~to show off my handsome face~~, and yet sian to be back to have to see the teachers' ~~not so appealing faces~~, nervous as it is the last term of Sec 3 already, must work hard for FYEs. Time travels at a speed of 3.0 X 10^9, faster than light HAHAS...still can remember being an OAL: Belaying, kayaking, drills, introducing Sec 1s to the way of life in Catholic High, GOOD TIMES, GOOD TIMES...now term 4 le, so JIA YOU to myself!

A maths to kick start the day, was easy and slack slack and easy. Proving theorems is quite an easy topic so far, but judging by the looks of it, it cant be that hard. P.E. was crap because of SOMEONE, 9:30 than start, 9:40 finish wearing harness(Is it spelt like that? Lazy check.), effectively leaving us with A GRAND TOTAL OF...5 WHOLE MINUTES...WOW.

Geography was ok, lower course quite easy to understand, just need to memorise. History elective is interesting, boring...sometimes TOO INTERESTING=BORING(New equation???).

Double HCL went to auditorium to go through Sec 4 CL prelim paper, almost the entire level did badly, even the China scholars, speaking of which, they are on the National Science Challenge TV programme representing our school, YAY!!!...WAIT JUST A DARN MINUTE...DIDNT THEY SAY NATIONAL??? Physics was next, nothing much except at the end, at around 2:15(Lesson ends at 2:25), Mr Ng suddenly tell us got mock SPA, sian...so last minute.

HCL remedial was slack, went through 2 综合填空 and 理解测验, after that went store.

I, CHEW HUI YANG, AS OF 08TH SEPTEMBER 2008, CAN DO HELICOPTER, AROUND 8 ROUNDS!!! Got chance i put video, make sure you all go put jaw brace lest your jaw break when you watch it. Grammar side note: You WATCH a television programme, but you SEE a movie, understand???

09TH SEPTEMBER 2008, TUESDAY

Woke up very early today around 5:45(That is early when you take private jet to school), 6:15 left house, reached school at 6:45, was the ~~2nd~~ 11th to reach school after Xavier(3-7 and ex 2-5 people would know why). Prepared SS file because im a 乖 boy boy.

Chemistry was the first period, MDM gave us two mock papers. A bit gila but she ask us to complete the first one by today afternoon, as im a 乖 boy boy, i did as i was told. Siao tommorrow must hand in the next one.

Double English, was fun in a sense that it was SLACK. Went O Level 5 component techniques.

Physics was ok, a little dry but nonetheless was beneficial as Mr Ng went through Waves and Electromagnetic Waves worksheet.

Physics MOCK SPA after recess was ok, but i think i was little careless, see if i lucky can scrape through or not. SS next was ever since term 1, the slackest period because Ms Thian only went through stuff about filing, since im a 乖 boy boy, my file is almost in order with a few worksheets left out because i forgotten to bring.

After school, went store practiced advanced arm drills and a little PDS, tried apple + banana blend from store 3, HAHA NICE! Go land store, how the fates have changed, Kun Liang became my 财神爷!

THATS ALL FOLKS! I think i will stop blogging either next week or the week after for FYE preparation, dont miss me!!! If you have sudden craving ~~like a pregnant lady~~, take chewing gum to stop the addiction, i know is hard, ~~i have tried not looking in the mirror to see my handsome face for an hour~~, i almost fainted. But, as Confucius says: CHILDREN IN FRONT OF A CAR RESULTS IN ACCIDENTS, ACCIDENTS AT THE BACK OF THE CAR RESULTS IN CHILDREN, oops sorry wrong one, as the Nike advertisement goes: JUST DO IT.

3RD SEPTEMBER 2008, WEDNESDAY

NOODLES FOR BREAKFAST!!! Courteousy of James Loo Jing Qian!!! YAY!!! Seriously, his house there the 肉脞面 damn damn damn nice and addicting. Physics remedial was very helpingful in clearing any doubts or difficulties we may face about energy during FYE. Note to self: Mr Ng's very important IS IMPORTANT. He was like smiling lah, very obvious, too bad he didnt do the big-board-ol'-summary like last year, maybe the last week before FYE.

After remedial, went to the hall with Kun Liang to play basketball, but the floorball team was there so ~~we heck them~~ stoned there. As usual, we i spammed PSG3(Read previous post), broke Keefe's 100m record after so many tries of 8:96 with a record of 8:93!!! HAHA...also after several tries, i broke Kun Liang's long jump record which was supposedly "IMPOSSIBLE" as quoted by Kun Liang himself of 9.40m with 9.46m!!! IN YOUR FACE KUN LIANG!!! I now own 3/5 event records on your phone!!! Though i didnt manage to break the other 2 records, it is only a matter time...

Went to store, practiced rising sun and j hook, i did many times lor(Yu Cheng go ask Kun Liang and James Loo), after that played basketball in the hall, got thrased by Kun Liang 7-0 in a space of 15-25 minutes. SHAME SHAME...

Ran to bubble tea after that, YES RAN, stupid shop(Just joking) make so slow slow me down, in the end i took 12 mintues, i could have taken about 6-7 minutes only lor. Came back store do homework/sleep and took the store's old pair of NO 3 shoes exchange at HQ, sian lah it rained came back to Bishan again after that, cut hair and went home prepare my stuff for the next day.

Ideal values of the NCC, and yet the irony is that none of us so called "Senior Specialists"embodies all these qualities, some people do not even have one in them.

Woke up, wore NO. 4, and came down at 7:10-7:15 just in time to see Yong Hwee's mother's car, reached Amoy Quee Camp at 7:35, called Wei Kit to find out they are inside already ~~while we waited like idiots~~.

In-processing took quite awhile ~~while we waited like idiots~~. Finally went into bunk to put our bags. By the way, I was in Foxtrot Company Platoon 2 Section 3. Our PC was C/LTA Fang Xiang, APC's was C/(LTA/2LT?) Amirul, C/2LT Farhan, C/2LT Hafiz(Spec Course Hurricane 3 PC, i was in Hurricane 3) and CDO Helmi.

Marched down to parade square/canteen area to take company picture.

Foxtrot Company. "Sir, Yes Sir!" Spot me if you can!!! If you can spot the mistake with me, i give you $1000000. Oh yah i just realise, OOC Munir is standing at the top row, directly above course commander, RSM NCC, woah coincidental.

Went to MPH for RSM NCC's lessons. Namely, DUTIES OF A USM; WORDS OF COMMAND; PACE STICK DRILL. Overall, quite interesting but i almost slept(Maybe i was too lethargic). RSM like Encik Low, is a JOKER. Yups, SIMPLY HILARIOUS.

After lunch which was a little different than Spec Course of which Spec Course one was catered by Lion's Restaurant while this one was catered by ~~No Signboard Seafood Restaurant~~ i dont know who and also in view of Hari Raya Puasa,the muslims had to fast, was Advanced Arm And Foot Drills. Foxtrot 2 did arm drills first at the training shed. We learnt alot of difficult and weird drills(Definition of advanced?). After that was foot drills and RSM taught us formation of squad and for a squad to get on parade. Pace Stick drill was next and i got the nice and shiny and new and...big f*** etc. brown one. So practiced in the Theatrette which was very slack, got aircon somemore.

Dinner was good as usual, dont know why after Camp Feast so budget, NCC got so much money to spend on such nice food. Sir Hafiz came at this time. Lots of admin time as the muslims went dont know where, so F2 played "Concentration", HAHA we keep bullying Paul, make him do forfeit like write his name with his butt in the air and pole dance. So everybody came back and Paul and Nicholas(We 3 keep alternating as timer) got a chance to try a mock mutual before the actual one the next day. Very helpful for Nicholas, you will know why later, read on. After that return to bunk admin time and sleep.

The next day(Sounds like a Primary School composition), woke up and fall in in NO. 4. MAKE OR BREAK. DO OR DIE. Ate breakfast and prepared for our mutuals. Foot drill mutuals were first, wrote our name on the scoresheet and started. Of course, i did my best for both mutuals lah. Originally, it was supposed to be an entire day, but there were only 11 people in my section, so we finished before lunch.

After lunch, went back to bunk for admin time, studied for air proficiency test and stuff, after that went to MPH to do sai kang(Move chairs). After that damn crap, march back to block 246 and march to MPH. Did scenario planning at canteen and went for RSM's lesson at MPH which was BADGE PLACEMENT; MANAGING PARADES AND CEREMONIES; ETHICS AND DECORUM. After dinner, marched back to MPH, i was the timer for about 80 people or 2 platoons, in fact i was the timer along with Nicholas and Paul for most of the course. Two songs and a hentak kaki cheer was enough to take everything out of me. Not drinking enough water made it worse. Out of my 3 years in NCC, this was the only time i sort of(NOTICE: SORT OF) lost my voice. Admin time and someone lost her inhaler, so Paul, Nicholas, Hun Ing and I volunteered to help. Searching was to no avail, went back and bathed then sleep.

Woke up and realise it was the last day of the course, YAY ME!!! Packed our bedding items, went down fall in. Ate our last real meal, and went back cleaned bunk, after CDOs inspected our bunks, brought our bags down fall in, hand in CDO appraisal and marched to MPH. Put our bags in the landing terrace. Had AAR and rehearsal for the graduation ceremony, the Mdm(emcee) was damn monotonous lah. Nicholas was F2 Best. In the end, the real thing, MAJ James(Commander East) talk quite long, and Mdm screwed up, call out OOC then COC. Haiz...went to canteen had refreshments, fall in at parade square. Broke up into sections, saw Sir Hafiz holding the envelopes and lanyards, counted got 11, so everybody passed. He at first called out my name, than he play me, say i wouldnt get because i failed, then Sir Helmi say dont give me because i only got MKE badge, no AKE badge. I got it in the end lah, as in really at the end, i was the last to get. Got a 2 year old magazine(NCC 105th Anniversary). Dismissed, want to go home also cannot. MP was activated so i cant back my handphone which i surrendered at the start, looking back i dont even know why i brought it with me. Note to self: Never bring handphone again...at military camp.

Through this course i hope to become the leader and role model i had hope to be when i was a cadet to all cadets under me. I have tried my best, and not saying i was very good, but i really felt that Foxtrot COC and Best In Foot Drills Mutual didnt deserve it, i was definitely better as i have observed her conducting her mutual, but im sure the CDOs had their reasons for choosing her, call me biased or whatever, this is the stand that i hold and am entitled to have. Of course, CONGRATULATIONS to Hairee for winning POC in his platoon. The funny thing that i have learnt, is that people who didnt deserve the rank and lanyard got it(People like Mong Jia Hong, even Paul agrees with me) while some who truly deserve it didnt get it, i.e., Josiah. It is really a dubious system of marking that the CDOs have, as such different CDOs have varying standards so it is not really accurate as to who should get an award, not saying that Munir and all other award winners didnt deserve it(Faggot Firman ACT blur in the end get Air Syllabus Best). Though i didnt get what i wanted, i realise by aiming for it, i have actually enabled myself to be a better leader which i have to test it out in the trying months ahead before POP 2009. Special thanks to those who have help me pull through this course, of which without them, i would not have imagine myself getting the rank and lanyard, in no order of merit: Caleb(Not really actually), Paul and Nicholas from SCSS, Hadi(Not really also but still thanks anyway) from North View, Marcus Tan from Macpherson's, Marcus Ho, Eric Yeo and Glenn Khoo from CCHY, Satya(CGOD, only F2 will know what it is) ~~the satay man~~, Eugene and Sean from SPS, Hun Ing from Unity, Wai Loong from Outram, Hong Wei from Manjusri(Weird name for a school right), Hidayah the only girl in my section, Aaron from St Gabriel's, Josiah and all other people whom i have forgotten the names of.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN(YOU ALSO ATTENDED SSC): MAYBE I WAS TOO CAUGHT UP WITH SUPERFICIAL THINGS, MAYBE I WAS COWARDLY, MAYBE I WAS JUST PLAIN STUPID TO NOT EVEN SAY HI OR ANYTHING, BUT IM TRULY SORRY. I WAS DUMB, I FINALLY REALISE THAT A PLAQUE DOESNT MAKE ME A GOOD LEADER, IT IS ALL MY FRIENDS THAT COUNT. THOSE FEW DAYS OF WANTING AN AWARD SO MUCH HAVE UTTERLY RIDDED MY BRAIN OF ALL OTHER THOUGHTS, I WAS TOO ZOMBIFIED. I NEGLECTED YOUR PRESENCE, AND ALL THAT I CAN ONLY HOPE FOR IS YOUR FORGIVENESS, PROMISES I HAVE MADE BEFORE WERE BULLSHIT IN THE SENSE THAT I HAVE BROKE IT.

SORRY TO DISAPPOINT ALL OF YOU ~~FANS~~ FRIENDS OUT THERE, SO I SHALL MAKE IT UP WITH A ~~MILO 3-IN-1(Sorry im drinking this right now)~~ 4 DAYS-IN-1 POST.

30TH AUGUST 2008, SATURDAY
WAKE UP WAKE UP!!! I went to school and was the earliest since i was the only one nutty enough to reach school at 7:30, Ernest arrived and joined me to sleep at the tables in the 3rd floor corridor. Ms Chow came and gave us the keys to unlock the class for us to sleep, we went like YEAH!!! Ate the noodles that James bought, YUMMY!!! Thanks James(Tommorrow also have)! All the way was a maths, learnt equations of circles and curves(Part of/Sort of like coordinate geometry) all the way until 11:00, those need to take re-test had a remedial lesson and after that took the test. Of course yours truly need not take the test ~~because im a 乖 boy boy who studies though i dont like it~~ so i spammed Playman Summer Games 3 on Matthew's phone.

Matthew forgot to take his phone after the test but i gave it to him at the porch before he left, sigh of relief for him. Went to land store, spammed PSG3(Refer to above paragraph) competition with Kun Liang, then something uneventful happened to Ernest but was solved in the end, that 王八蛋 better watch out play with something as dear as that to Ernest, make sure dont get caught or not he pray hard he can get out alive(Too bad im his MAKER). Crisis solved, played basketball for awhile, ate pizza, Rong Xuan' treat(YAY US!!!), spammed more PSG3, finally after trying so long, i beat Kun Liang's 110m hurdle record of 11:59 with a time of 11:46, pole vault also at first broke Keefe's record with 6.62m, but Kun Liang tyco broke it with 6.68m. HAHA(In your face Kun Liang!). Bubble tea and went home.

31ST AUGUST 2008, SUNDAY
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARREN!!! 1 more, just 1 more year to NC16! Woo Hoo!!!
THE HUMAN RACE...NIKE 10K RUN. I reached at 11:00, the supposed starting time but i was on the opposite side, make The Godfather think i was late, PAI SEH HOR! Stoned in the hot sun until 12:30 ~~like some idiot~~ and Bryan and Darren both got their albums autographed by Boys Like Girls. Sunny soon came ~~to give us our money for stoning~~ and we started work. Moved lots of metal barricades until i dont want see another anymore in my life. Was supposed to get free lunch but got scammed in the end, 所谓冰冻三尺,非...(Sorry wrong one)天下无免费午餐. A drink was a rarity, with either no time or no place to buy, and finally Jared and i found it though it was expensive but less so compared to Starbucks. We should have bought from the drinks/ice-cream vendor, DAMN IT!!! Put up the banners and slacked. The race started and we watched them run(No i was not running ~~though i would have owned them if i had~~).

After the run, we took down the banners and shift the barricades back, since they wanted to throw the banners away, we cut a piece and brought it home as souvenirs. LOLS... Stoned damn long afterwards and finally Sunny came ~~and we started work~~ to give us our money. Brandon, Jared and i left while the rest stayed to watch the Boys Like Girls part of the concert, actually Jared wanted to but cant.

Although the barricades were not that heavy, it was still tiring because there were SO MANY so i slept like baby that night, SWEET DREAMS...SWEET DREAMS...

1ST SEPTEMBER 2008, MONDAY
Woke up ate breakfast and went out to make my IC, took picture did all the usual stuff blah blah blah.

Met Alvin, Ryan, Kai Xin, Wei Zhen, Winnie, Agnes and Michelle today ~~for an intellectual conference~~ 6D outing.

Dont know which 2 people so kind help old auntie in Jurong to cross the road and pick up fruits lor, late by a gazillion seconds. Finally they came and went Harbourfront, ate fish porridge because i was feeling a little catty.

Took monorail to Sentosa ~~to ogle at Chio Bu/for Chio Bu to ogle at us~~, played volleyball and stuffs. I REALISE GIRLS LIKE TO TAKE ALOT OF PICTURES, Oh my...I fear for theirs and more importantly, my sanity. I got buried ~~like a bone by evil rabies infected dogs~~ in the sand. Ryan helped to make me feel more wrong and disorientated than i already was. Just before we went back home, played monkey and soccer.

OH YAH PLEASE GO LISTEN TO MY 3 NEW BLOG SONGS!!! SHAN QUAN!!! The 1st and 3rd ones are the ONLY, i repeat ONLY 2/3 Korean songs i will EVER like!!! The 2nd one is a JAPANESE(No Shan Quan they cant all be Korean) song, some of you may recognise it as Inuyasha theme song, i dont watch the anime i just like the song.
